Issues with image postings on /hr/ (mainly)

Name: User !kvgzsaG21E 2007-03-04 12:04 ID:djBTJLK3

I've been attempting to make posts in /hr/, but no matter what browser I use, nor what sized/type image I attempt to upload, I get a 'Thumbnail Unavailable' image instead of a proper thumbnail. These images also take absolutely forever to upload compared to 'usual', and sometimes take up to 20 minutes to even become visible on the board...Also, once uploaded, I get shown a blank white screen and have to manually click back to /hr/ just to see my thread, if it's even there.

Seems others are having these problems too, is there any particular cause or ETA on a fix? Thanks.

Ok this is useless. If I create a thread, it takes up to 15 minutes to show up, then when it's there, I have no thumbnail..fair enough, but I can't actually enter my own thread, I just get a 404 Not Found page/image.

What gives...am I the only one getting this level of bullshit?

No, you aren't.

Ok...STILL trying all these hours later. What the hell is this, a 24/7 bandwidth issue that i'm stuck on the trailing edge of? People are posting far larger images all around me on a constant basis. Seriously, it's getting gay now.

php was crashing when it tried to thumbnail certain images, it should work now.

I believe it means the poster is so awesome that no ID is needed. Supposedly reserved for mods, admins and God. The two latter might overlap.

You the man, that graph gave me a hardon. Everything's back in order.

I was wondering (figured i'd ask here rather than start a new thread). I've got a post on /hr and i've basically got a couple of Anons taking it upon themselves to start yet another generic internet battle over who's videocards are best and so on so forth...completely not what I created the thread for.

Now I know that nowhere in the rules does it state anything about irate and intentionally agressive posters, but isn't there ANYTHING I can do to stop their crap before it turns into an utter shitfest? I'd like to simply report their couple of posts so far and offer a decent reasoning as to why I think they should be removed, but it seems that's clearly not on the books...shouldn't it be? At least for some of the more 'normal' boards.

I'm just sick of people coming in and trashing what could potentially be a good thread. :\

Don't change these.
