How long do threads take to purge?

I know it's an hour for /b/, but what about the other boards?

I think it's considirably longer.  I've been able to find threads i've posted days ago on places like /o/.  Purging may not be on days but on size as well.

No set time on /b/ AFAIK (I've certainly seen non-sticky threads last for upwards of five hours as recently as last month - remember the drunk, naked, babbling Aussie/N.Z.-girl video?).

As for other boards, I think it varies.  Less than a day on /s/, at least three or four on /e/, and so forth.

* old threads are deleted at the rate new threads are created.

A saged reply doesn't count as a reply. Also, the more replies, the faster it is pruned from the board.

This is only true for /b/. The rest of the boards just knock the oldest post off when a new thread is created.
