/anime/ vs /a/

I took a peek into the anime and manga textboard and have come to the conclusion that the /a/ imageboard is far superior in terms of the ratio of intelligent posts made, this is of course excluding the numerous puns and memes and only counting the serious posts. While /anime/ is like a self proclaimed otaku who does not know any other animes outside anything other than Naruto and Bleach, /a/'s like an akiba-ko who indulges in the true wonders of the otaku world.

Basically speaking, /anime/ not being weeaboo enough. Your thoughts?

/a/ is too weeaboo for me.
