Estimated time of thread death counter?

I'd really like this one for /b/. Often some good threads show up but you arent around. Then you open the thread only to have it die a minute or two later while you're refreshing to see if new content shows up. It would save a lot of grief if you knew when to hurry and when to accept defeat.

It'd remove all the challenge and effort from /b/. If you can't estimated it in your head, LURK MOAR. Any attempt at making 4chon more convenient is misguided.
