Many threads are started with images that are not directly related to their news. Example:
News: Israel bombs stuff, people got injured.
Image: Photo of an injured civilian from the Iraq-Iran war.
News: Marines raped Iraqui girl.
Image: Photo of a Swedish schoolgirl.
In case of news, images don't just become related because they depict something that's vaguely similar, but essentially different.
News agencies or newspapers have to tell you when the attached picture wat taken at a different time, about different events, or different people to avoid misleading the reader.
Would it be possible to add this to the rules of /n/?
