Ok, i found the fix for getting these boards to work again! Strangely, the fix was posted to an Australian board almost 2 years ago. All you have to do is do a search of your computer for a file called "hosts" (no quotes). it's in the C:/Windows/system32 folder if you want to cut down on search time. now, once you found the file, open it in notepad and look for any lines pertaining to 4chan.org (there will be an IP address followed by (something, in my case "bin").4chan.org. all you have to do is delete any lines pertaining to 4chan and then hit save. and the boards will work again!

apparently so. there was a warning on the australian forum i got it from that warned if you can't access certain boards to do what i just explained. that post was from back in 2004 so it has at least happened in australia...
