can't mark text with opera

hey, i used to be able to mark text (rs links) while raoming the boards etc. this feature caesed working for me since, so my guess, i installed opera 9. i do neither want to miss the features opera comes with nor the feature to be able to mark text. when clicking/dragging on a image opera treats it like an image links to toylet.net. is there anything i can do about that?
