Xbox Losing Microsoft $2 Billion Per Year

Name: Anonymous 2013-11-07 13:59

That's really their fault for pouring money on 3rd party games when the 1st party software is where the money is made. They had a chance with the high attach rate with the xbox gamer constantly buying the next new game. The $50-$60 per year XBL is extremely lucrative too.

Yet they shell out way too much money for crappy developers like Rare, they let Bungie go, and they can't seem to keep developers making the games that Microsoft can publish. The RRoD fiasco was also costly. You need more being the machine that is synonymous with multiplatform games.

Just stop focusing on the bigger picture when the key is just in-house development. Stop screwing around in Japan.. Just pour a little more money and hire the more talented engineers. Microsoft has deeper pockets than the three console holders after all.

There's no excuse on how a company like crappy and gimmicky Sony company is making money but Microsoft isn't.

Don't change these.
