Nintendo not as gimmicky as xbore One

In comparison to Wii and DS, I mean. I feel like the gimmicks aren't forced enough. That sounds strange, but what I mean is this:

Every game on Wii had to be designed with Wii's controller in mind. Every game on DS designed for the dual screen. And developers could use it to its full extent - everyone was using it, after all.

With Wii U, you have a traditional controller with a screen. You have Off-TV play. Nothing really uses - or perhaps can use - the controller for anything truly gamechanging. Hell, many Wii U owners - myself included - love Off-TV as a feature. But what else does it do? With 3DS, the problem is worse. Not everyone wants to use - or even can use - 3D. That means that the game must be playable without 3D.

Ultimately, this means that both consoles can't really do anything groundbreaking with what they have. Hell, I'm not sure either can do anything groundbreaking. Wii and DS quickly showed off how amazing their gimmicks could be, and how they could change gameplay. Wii U and 3DS? Not so much.

While both kept the gimmicks from their predecessors, they both limit it to one degree or another - Wii U's Gamepad needing to be the main controller or 3DS with it's larger top screen. It makes their gimmicks seem a bit more tacked-on, personally.
Last.

Just look at the xbore one its a one stop shop of gimmicky crap!
