3rd Party excuses for not porting to Wii U

A new trend being set by multiple 3rd party videogame developers.

Metal Gear Solid: Said they weren't porting Metal Gear Solid to the Wii U because of the unique controller and that they would need to do something unique with it.

Tomb Raider: Developer Crystal Dynamics isn't planning to release the new Tomb Raider on the Wii U because of the console's unconventional design.

Metro: Last Light: 4A Games the developer, said it would not develop a version for Nintendo Wii U game console, despite of the initial plan to do so as the system reportedly has low-performance microprocessor, also reported was both the PS4 & Xbox 720 both using super slow 1.6ghz CPU too.

Resident Evil 6: Capcom said it was "looking forward, not back" when asked if it planned to bring any late ports to the Wii U, two months later comes out with Monster Hunter 3 WiiU.

The true reason is one or more of the following:
* We don't have time.
* We don't have the resources.
* We don't care about supporting the platform.
* We don't think it would be worth the investment.
* We like both Mircosoft & Sony free money for being Exclusive

Well, you have to establish a userbase and attraction people to your games, and if there is none on a nintendo system who in there right mide would buy FPS Game Part 43 without playing the other games first.

It's got everything the other consoles have controller wise so there is no goddamn reason not to port stuff.

The game that's already predetermined by most gaming news media as well as the indifferent public to be the only killer app and system seller on U will be Wii Fit U (just like last time!!!) and there's not a fucking goddamn thing you can do about it.

If they don't think they are going to earn money from is a pretty good reason if you ask me.

The real kicker is that, by avoiding the console, they're refusing to establish a user base and therefore setting themselves up for future failure.

However, this is why Atlus and Nintendo working together on SMTxFE is a good thing, and Nintendo did state that they have many more collaborations in the works. This means that some third parties are being pushed to develop for the console by Nintendo themselves, and that is always a good thing.

I'm just happy that Platinum Games is moving to the new console. Only reason I'm getting it (outside of Monster Hunter).
