Reddit's default /r/gaming is terrible when it comes to discussion, /r/games and /r/truegaming are a bit better, although reddit's voting system can lead to outside opinions being downvoted /r/games is moderated and nice. If /v/ merged with /r/gaming I would kill myself, if it merged with /r/games it may actually be ok
