Making Game Movies

Name: Anonymous 2011-11-15 5:00

I have a bunch of demos I want to make into a short video.

The game itself (ut2004) has a built in AVI converter but it's slow as dicks (I have a beast of mahcine and it took 8 hours for 6 minutes of vidya).

Clearly this is not the way to go.

Is this a job best suited for fraps? How long does that take? I have another screen recorder and that's pretty crap.

Another way is using a webcam to record the screen or video camera.

What do you think?

Oh god, please don't do this. It's always going to sound and look like ass. Even worse so if you're holding it, because then you're just going to hear the handling of the plastic which just sounds like a chipmunk is chewing the mic.

Use either fraps, which a cracked version can be found rather easily, or hypercam, cracked. Both can make video that can be edited easily using virtualdub.

Are you retarded?
If you look at the Movies tab, it says exactly where the videos are stored.
