"Hero Status" is the only feature that you pay money for. It lets you play three different jobs which do very little but are useful, Scavenger has a higher chance of finding material, scouts can run through zombies and scout out special zones, Guardians can take on 4 zombies at once instead of 2 so they're great at saving people.
Actually decent bonuses of it are increased carry capacity (By 1), some very small perks for your house (You can lock it so people can't steal your stuff, that one's nice, the rest are kind of useless.)

I do NOT get anything special unless YOU pay for hero days, I don't expect you to nor want you to, the perks are not worth it. All this does if you don't buy hero days is put you on my supporter list so that I know you're from /v/.

Coalitions can join the same town together and private chat amongst themselves. Max per coalition is 5 though, sadly.
