I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

Enderdragons... They really speak for themselves.
According to Notch on Twitter and Reddit, they are 100% invulnerable and eats terrain basically like a huge Pacman. If you've seen The Langoliers, you know what's coming. Even the Minecraft userbase thought this was a fucking joke at first, but today (12th October) Notch confirmed it two times over. Apparently the future RED dragons will be only "slightly less dangerous".
I am so not upgrading to 1.9.
