I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

I'm not arguing on the fact that some idiots can't play survival but creative mode is a 'game'. Where is tge rule that all games have to be challenging? Anyway, in creative you challenge yourself and your imagination to make what you want the best way possible. A lot of people who play Minecraft probably have some desire to be an architect, so creative is perfect for them. Same goes for redstone circuitry. Some people may be interested in electricity and want to maybe be an electrician. Should we laugh and insult them and deny them oppurtunity and support for their cause? What kind of a world what it be if everyone insulted one another's choices and made everyone have no confidence?
