I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

Right now following an editing war on the wiki between Curse mod Saphireking65 (He's obviously 12 so he can't spell to "sapphire", but Curse apparently thought this wouldn't get in the way of him being a moderator for their wiki.) and victims Minecraft Wiki and Mincecraft. The latter people have been really helpful in putting up many showcasing videos of the new features on the wiki (through the YouTube channel WTFugawi), but the problem is that WTFugawi sounds like AN ACTUAL STRAIGHT MAN (around 18 years old, but still above 15 years old), and suspecting that they're therefor rapists, Saphireking65 has so far put up Mincecraft for a ban, saying that "it's against the rules". When asked what rules he's talking about (as Mincecraft has read both the disclaimer and privacy policy, finding nothing there), Saphireking replies "It is not my responsibility to tell you where the rules are.".
