Minecraft sucks

I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

Yeah, I remember playing Minecraft. Remember it like it was yesterday. We set down in the jungle at 0500, in the thick fog that made our clothes cling to our bodies, and started punching ourselves through the thick vegetation with our bare hands, looking out for creepers. Suddenly this giant spider swooped down on my friend and dragged him screaming back up through the leafwork, and there wasn't much we could do about it but press on, covered in his blood.

Then suddenly the jungle opened up before us, and we saw the most horrible sight. Beyond the impaled heads of former fellow soldiers, we saw a huge village of furfags, building huge faggy stuff with infinite blocks. There was cake and redstone everywhere. When we were done puking our guts out, we called in a napalm strike at the coordinates, relieved that the furfags would finally yiff in hell. Maybe we didn't win the war that day, but I'd like to think we made a difference, and that those soldiers we saw didn't die for nothing.

Some griefers grief because they're pissed because they were banned by bad mods or over other petty issue with some random server.
I grief for the Revolution, and I will stop griefing Minecraft servers when the furfag rule has ended, and when the bans of me and my fellow political prisoners expires at the forum. Another LP legend, JX23, closed his YouTube account yesterday(?). Apparently the Minecraft community has accused him of rape as well, specifically for showing a picture of his penis to somebody 16 years old (of legal age in his country, but faggots don't care) a month ago. "Go faggots!"

Notch once spoke out against the evils of the false rape accusations against Assange in his blog, then he hires Curse that's basically RUN on falsely accusing people they don't like of rape. Hypocrisy much?

"Curse Network Downtime Explanation

As many of you know, the Curse family of sites was hit with an outage over the past 48 hours. We are extremely sorry for the downtime and have been working tirelessly to get everything back online and running smoothly.

What Happened?


An important piece of hardware and its backup system failed causing all of our websites to go offline.

Around 7:30 AM PST on Wednesday, June 22nd one of the storage array network (SAN) controller nodes in our Atlanta datacenter failed, causing all the sites on the Curse network to go offline. This is a highly redundant system with a backup controller which should have taken over automatically. However, it did not, despite reporting as healthy. After replacing the failed controller, it booted, and began copying its configuration from its peer server. Unfortunately, as soon as the configuration was copied, the secondary controller also died.

After replacing the 2nd failed controller we began powering the servers that relied on the SAN for their data - all of the database servers and the network-attached storage (NAS) file server storing media, static content, and most web files. When the NAS server booted and reconnected to its volume on the SAN, it began to run a checkdisk command to make sure there were no errors on the drive. This proved to be a drawn out process, and was the primary reason for the length of the downtime.

In addition, we had yet another roadblock with our Linux servers. Both of the new controller nodes for the SAN had a newer firmware version, preventing these databases from reading their storage. The vendor acknowledged this as a known issue, and recommended a firmware upgrade to fix it. In order to ensure our data integrity, we are conducting a full backup of this storage before implementing the firmware upgrade. Once complete, this will bring the Linux based databases online.

After the fix is applied, we will be able to restore the database to its pre-crash state and restore full functionality to all of our sites.

The fagginess aside, I personally don't get Minecraft in the same way that I don't get people building elaborate sandcastles at the beach:
You spend hours building something, and a new update comes along, and all of a sudden the world that has been generated that far becomes obsolete because it lacks the new resources, so you have to start over again on a new world every other month. What's the point of building something that doesn't even last?

Update 1.7 was released yesterday, and I find it interesting how much fag stuff Notch can manage to cram into Minecraft. Apparently now survival in the Minecraft wilderness includes pushing blocks with piston machines (running on fairy redstone magic, of course). Not to crush enemies, no that would actually be practical and useful and result in terrifying blood - they just move something a short distance when the redstone tells it to.

It's actually pretty hilarious, because what you could see coming a mile away (and the reason for me protesting this idea when I was still not banned at the forums) is an attempt to create a telescope arm where a piston moves another piston and so on, or pistons moving blocks with redstone on them, something Mojang completely missed, resulting in maps crashing left and right.

I STILL can't get over the fact that one of the Minecraft forum mods (that supposedly all have some kind of protective roles next to the other not-so-brave-and-able regular Minecraft players) got so scared of a GIRL that they thought she went around RAPING other Minecraft players in the forum, and had to permaban her from it in order to protect these players.
I wonder if they did the same to Minecraft Chick, but again, she's a FAGGY girl in a pink wig, and therefor perhaps not quite as scary.

The corrupt forum is ONE failure, but that Notch is the fans bitch is a more serious one. It speaks loads that nobody of the LPers who were around in the old days, is still around today (unless it's for griefing purposes). Yeah, like Minecraft community would even hope to be ever better than the Doom community. Minecraft would never be the Doom franchise that spur forth a massive size of a open-source community.

There is no Minecraft language support for custom scripts. The only thing I see as the best Minecraft got to offer is to pass as a three-dimensional Lemmings rogue-like without open access to the source code. I heard some people say that there are a lot of survival elements in the gameplay. If you want survival, try the Dwarf Fortress rogue-like in Adventurer Mode; there are of survival elements such as hunger, thirst, wounds, exhaustion, weather, and etc. If you want imagination, you should have no problem with MUD games (lost souls or medievia). The graphics are the pixels, but it is not detailed enough to match jrpg pixel graphics. The Death Illustrated FPS have hand-drawn illustrations for graphics and they are good enought to surpass the Minecraft graphics.

I am asking a lot out of this post and I expect some strong arguments for why Minecraft should be the best game ever or of all time. Face the truth, Minecraft aint one of the best (free or commerical). Thou shalt not buy the Minecraft game for saving face from have one's arse handed to thee.
