I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.
Wow, you guys really take your opinions seriously... Just wondering, do your voices echo in your head with what you typed? Does the simple aspect of being anonymous really press your egos to the breaking point? It's a game, and a sucky one to boot. Who hasn't played a sucky game before? The entire Mario saga ring a bell? If you say it sucked, then you played it. If you played it, then you made it past the intro screen. If you made it that far into it, obviously, you were interested. So from now on (and I'll hold your hand if you're scared) just say "I was interested at first but then I found it dull." And for the love of deep fried spam CALM THE FUCK DOWN OR ILL START PUNCHING RANDOM BABIES!!
