I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.
Now the game sucks imo, with the new update, the game-play is unforgiving. if you die at all, you lose all the items you have on you, you cant get them back as far as i know, and you cant load previous saves, as the game auto saves when you die.
Its really a pain in the ass too see hours of game-play go down the hole when you die.
But they did add a few cool things, like the new hellish world and whatnot, but this game would be alot more fun if it dident have a auto save on death.
