I know you remember regretting that page you picked got you killed.  I know you cheated and went back to pick the "winning" page.  I know I did.

Give me some inspiration /games/.  I'm making one now as I speak.

Go read the Lone Wolf series by Joe Dever.  You can read/play the first 20 or so online for free at

Seriously.  Great storyline, a basic but workable combat system, very well-written death pages, and special skills you could pick from in order to win different ways.


Also, apparently there's an American Girl choose-your-own series.  But go for the Lone Wolf thing.
