If Pokemon were a normal RPG

Sup /games/. /v/fag here. Not much happens here does it? Just wondering what it would be like if Pokemon became a tactics games or a JRPG. I mean where Ash is the main hero, goes on an adventure, meet new characters(Misty, Brock, Dawn, the other characters) and he fights Pokemon like enemies from a normal RPG. There are even 'job' titles like Hiker, Pokemon Fan, Lass, etc that are in the original series.

I think this would be awesome. What does /games/ think?

I think they should focus on not making their starter pokemon all faglike (eg. black and white). I mean, srsly, they don't even look cool. :(

They don't look cool to you and most older people because pokemon's target audience is kids. All the kids love most the pokemon and a newer generation will love the new pokemon as well.

If Pokemon was a full-on RPG, I'd actually buy it. Maybe Game Freak should think about making an Adult Pokemon game, for the older people who experienced the older Pokemon era, like Pokemon Red,Blue,Yellow. When I mean adult I mean like Adult decisions in the world, making a career, or just being a Trainer. Plus a better storyline, like Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal, best Pokemon games by far.

Uhh, if Pokemon were a full-on RPG, it wouldn't be Pokemon, now would it?
