My friend and I used to work at big companies (Neversoft, Obsidian) then got tired of it and left (re:fired)

So we decided to say screw it and make our own games. Yeah, they're smaller, but way more fun than any of the expensive repeating crap that keeps getting passed off as new and enticing.

True - but it's different enough to be worthwhile. I am sick as hell of match-3 games, but just 'cuz it's played out doesn't mean it's barren. We changed the way the fundamental stuff worked, and it made a game that was as familiar as anything old (so people can pick it up and learn it easily) but with a new mechanic that immediately will force you to think differently about everything.

It's been taking off really well - as a free game anyway. We will see how it goes when it goes back to paid tomorrow!

Mostly the big issue is that a game looking like that has a hard time standing up next to something looking like, say, SFIV or GTA. But after all the work, was I gonna NOT release it? I'm glad I did, and it's been an interesting week-

also - it's still free today (might as well since the numbers were just getting moving) but tmrw it's back to paid. So we will see.
