You wake up. The air around you smells smokey and unpleasant. You walk foward a bit, and notice the town is on fire!!!
Who could have done this??? You look around, and notice a blunt branch in the dirt. You pick it up.

Take exit N and seek out fire to light my blunt stick. Once lit, I will help spread the fire around the city. If there is an evil overlord watching, I'll show him my true bent by doing this, and hopefully gain his respect and interest.
If there is no evil overlord, I'll take responsibility for the fires to begin with, just like the dozens of groups that claimed resoponibility for the 9/11 bombings. This is the perfect entry into the world of evil.
So I help spread the fire then I go to the city centre, where there is nothing to burn, and I watch the city around me burn. What do I see?
