Seriously, what is this place? I only just noticed this link saying that you guys were "OUR BROS".

4chan was acually launched in 2002 but moot couldn't afford decent servers back then (he was 12) so he disabled the uploading of images. 2 years later the imageboards were launched, but he never got around to deleting the text boards.

That certainly explains alot. Thanks! How often do people post here?

It feels very strange to see post numbers in the single digits. If I do decide to post here regularly this will take quite a while to adjust to. I'm used to seeing post numbers in the millions. Why is activity so slow here anyway? I think moot should put the text boards on the front page and just separate them from the image boards so that they get more attention.

lately due to /b/ having issues, /v/ is being almost filled with /b/tards since we made most of the memes they so love to use. at least those weeaboos over at /a/ seem to be naturally resistant to this bullshit.
