Getting it later, Good game? Suggestions? Any newbie traps I should worry about?

In general, any tips?

It's alright. Lots of PUZZLAN.

Golden Sun is quite good. No obvious newbie traps I remember, just make sure you get all the Djinn. Get a walkthrough for getting all of them and for solving some of the tougher puzzles.

Both games are awesome.

Camelot should make a 3rd game asap

A 3rd game would probably just be a huge dissapointment.

And yeah, definitely get all the djinn. Some of them are pretty hard to find (if there's an obvious "secret" path or something, there might be one nearby)

I thought it was the most soul-less game I ever played. I might actually try finishing one these days though just to see what possibly people are talking about. Just putting that out there so you don't have to feel bad about not liking it.

Thinking back though, you should probably turn off the "voice" in the options. That stuff is screeching with head-phones.
