Xbox Avatars

Does anyone know what exactly these guys are going to be used for?  I think mine is really cute, and I'd like to use him in a game or something.  But all he does is sit there smiling, ready to do nothing all day.  Rare ought to be working on a companion game.

How does 4chan feel about the existence of the Xbox people?

They piss me off. MS has alienated a lot of core gamers with their casual shit. This kind of stuff belongs on the Wii.
