Okay, I recently reinstalled Oblivion on my new rig and every time I exit the game it crashes and I have to alt time to the invisible  critical error message, or shut the process down manually in the task manager. Anyone know why the hell it's doing this?

Running Vista, 4GB Ram, dual GeForce 8800 GTX's
addons installed: Unofficial patches for Oblivion, Shivering Isles, and DLC content; Qarl's Texture Pack 3 + unofficial patch to fix it; plus all the official DLC.

Are you on Vista?

Vista - fail faggot lol

you installed user made mods - what the hell did you expect?

Lol, even the /v/ discussion board is full of useless degenerate faggots. The conflict is in the Shivering Isles unofficial patch. The morons set the day way too low and cause it to load before Shivering Isles itself.

1. That is normal. Infact, the more mods you have, the more likely you crash on exit. Even without mods, you can crash. No problem at all. You might want to look for kivans post where he tells you how to make a special exit ptocedure which you can call via console. Kivan on bethsoft forums.
2. >>6 shivering isle.esp is a dummy esp to load the BSA files. You can load the esp very late without problems. UOP is not at fault here!
2.1. Use wrye bash or OBMM, faggot and GTFO you dumbass.

Using both Wyre Bash and OBMM. Part of why I was worried/annoyed about the exit crashes. Thanks for the tip though.
