>>9 you are full of fail. its a great game the first play through. it does not have a lot of replay but when you get into a battle you are fucking involved, you are not just lobbing grenades and pulling out the m60 with the fmj/ap/depleted uranium bullets. you actually have to use strategy. and as you abilities rise you start combat more sophisticated AI.

START
The game starts out with Altair pushing his way around a crowd. everything is blurry and there are voices in the background talking about synchronization. You are ejected from this machine you come to know as the ANIMUS.
BASIC BC STORY
you are an assassin named Altair (alt-eye-ear) pronounced oddly.
you are given the task to get an object named the PIECE OF EDEN (its power allows the holder to control the minds of the masses and create illusions) from the Christian Templars. when you fail you are stripped of your rank and given the mission of finding and assassinating 9 templar associates. with each one you assassination you find out that the templars mean well but the way they go about their business is wrong. turns out the assassins guild master uses the PIECE OF EDEN to control the minds of his people so he can end the war and create the perfect society. This is the same as the templars wished to do. but the guild master Al Mualim (all Moo-all-ym) was power hungry. it also turns out that he was in cahoots with the templars to find this PIECE OF EDEN and had you kill them off so he could keep it to himself.
BASIC AD STORY
you are a man named Desmond. After you were kidnapped you are brought to a building and forced into the animus or threatened with death. Now the in this game every human being not only hold their own memories but the memories of their ancestors. the animus seeks out these memories and shows them as if it was a movie. the company responsible is looking for the PIECE OF EDEN actually the many PIECES OF EDEN to put into orbit in satellites and control the world and RE-EDUCATE the masses. meaning no war, no hate, nothing that could cause problems. the PIECE OF EDEN is very powerful and at one point at Denver International Airport it somehow starts making people kill each other and themselves.
the two doctors working on Desmond are named Vidik and Lucy
vidik follows the orders and Lucy turns out to be a descendant of the assassins order. so she is there to save Desmond. Desmond is a descendant of the Templars. at one point in the game the new generation of templars attempts to free Desmond but there are gunned down by the company's soldiers.
and the company gets what they want and lucy tells them not to kill you. and then you get this ability called eagle vision and you get to see all the phenomena written in blood all over the walls. this includes eye of Ra, crop circles, 2012 apocalypse type numbers. and other shit. sorry 4chan was not included and that was blasphemy on their part.
Okay that is the basic game plot. Who thinks that this would make and excellent film?
