Might and Magic 7

I tried /v/ but my thread already got hijacked. When I went to the walls of mist to get my lick promotion quest soul jar, the chest was empty, like a giant "fuck you." Apparently I am not the only one who has this issue. Does anybody know how to fix it, a patch or a hack or something?

Restart the game and make your party all knights
