So how many of you have actually considered making freeware (or at least shareware) games?

What are some of your ideas (don't give away everything, a genre is enough)?

I'm making a 2D single-player RPG which I'll distribute for free if/once I finish it. However, I'm a terrible programmer so my game engine's full of holes right now which will take a while to fix.
