I feel the same.  To me, the Subspace Emissary storyline felt too much like the Kingdom Hearts storyline.  If you read what is made public of the story, you'll see it.

The Subspace Emissary in SSBB is alot like the heartless and nobodies of Kingdom Hearts, except that they aren't formed from someone losing heart.  But the SE still does the same thing that the KH characters do.  That is a basic breakdown of how the story is.

Oh, I thought it meant that emissaries from subspace were going to be in the new smash brothers, which was going to worry me because a lot of those people are fags and smash brothers also sucks major shit.

i concur, although on te topic of new characers, sonic is a big fanboy fav and everyone and their grandmothers are saying "ooh we want sonic in brawl" not considering what will his moves be, his specials, how will he play as a character, will he be a normal character, like link, who takes some time to master but not all that crazy, u know, the guy everyone uses, like kirby, the cheapo self destructing asswipe, who, when in the wrong hands will make you want to kill the guy playing, or like luigi, a character for expirienced players, taking long hours to master and one demon of a character if you do, all how his moveset is, and his colors gotta be cool too, lol (pink sonic oooh!)
