Goldeneye was godly back in the day, but sadly that's a game that hasn't aged well, nowadays the multiplayer feels clunky and slow as molasses. Right now the best console FPS is either Halo or Timesplitters 2.

no the best is that shooting gun, where u have the gun and shoot the ducks virtually. that game was aweeesommee. like your controller was a rifle, and the ducks came on the screen, and you shot them!!! what could be more fun??

The only good console FPS is one you can use a mouse+keyboard with.
UT and Q3 on Dreamcast with the DC mouse and keyboard FTW.
