Legend of Legaia. A underrated game on PSone. It has a look like FF& and a completely unique battle system that easy to use. the story is medevil/feudal era like surrounding a myst around the world. IT has solid characters and background and great side stories. If you decide to cheat your way through there some cool items you wont find going through legit. (I played this legit once and cheated after.)
Its rare to find nowadays unless you emulate.

Super Mario RPG. Easily one of the best SNES games I've ever played.

I was looking for a copy of Legend of Legaia a little while back and on Amazon the cheapest one was $40 used. I'd love to play that game again.

ironically enough, my first would be wild arms 1
LOL Dragon Warrior was made by Enix, and Final Fantasy by Squaresoft, by the time the Dragon Quest series went into the 3D world, they were SquareEnix, so no stealing involved. =O

Yes but to begin with Final Fantasy heavily borrowed from Dragon Warrior/Quest.
Adventure, back in the 1890s. Heh, I guess having lived longer than the universe itself has its advantages sometimes.

I remember that game. That was alot of fun. Though, it is more of an adventure game than an RPG. Still, alot of fun. I don't know why elements from that game, like setting bridges, are no longer present in today's games. And that bat thing that would sometime bring you items, other times take your items, or worse, grab a dragon and drop it off in your area.
Though, Haunted House was always my chosen fav from that era.
