Does anyone know if the first Riolu egg you get from Riley can be female? I've saved my game just before it hatches and have tried again and again to get a female to hatch out of it, but every single one has been male. According to Serebii.net, there is a 12.5% chance for a Riolu to be female, but I have yet to see one.

It can be female 12.5% of the time BUT, you're fucked, because it's decided when he gives you the egg, not right before it hatches.

Mine was female. I had no idea that chick Riolu were somewhat rare until I bred over a dozen of them and got 100% males.

Serebii is a terrible site. But yeah its before its given. Think about it,if he gives you a male egg and it hatches male but you want female saving before it hatches even though its male wont do anything.
