I've played a bit of it, but using an unofficial mouselook patch. That's right, it doesn't come with mouselook. It is slightly less horrid, but it's still pretty unwieldy. The graphics look poorer compared to the console versions.
Overall, I can't recommend playing this unless you have a PC gamepad to use.

PROTIP: Windows versions of Japanese console games usually suck, no matter who does the porting.

Still playing it. It's an enjoyable game marred by a poor port. the mouselook takes some getting used to since it's not perfect, but I probably haven't found a good sensitivity number for it. Anybody have one?
buy a PS2 first before you buy, download, steal, etc this piece of poop.

You should get Resident Evil: Deadly Silence it is a real good game it contains both the original version (more puzzle oriented) and rebirth mode (more action oriented)
it also has a multiplayer mode but everyone you play with must have the game
I dont think it is scary since I played both the playstation and gamecube version before this game but if you are a newcomer to the RE series you might jump a few times
the graphics are beautiful to DS standards
another good thing about this game is the price I think you could get it new for like 20 bucks
