Unless you're a paying member, there's no real money involved in auto-mining rune essence, because Jagex realized that many people were using macros to farm the rune essence for a lot of money and they made it so f2p rune essence is different (and a lot less expensive) than p2p rune essence (called "pure" rune essence now).
