im with >>1 on this. lately there have been a few threads that aren't even about video games but instead about tripfags.

The problem with tripfags is that they bring attention to themselves by gathering in clumps and creating drama. /v/ is bad enough as it is, but with tripfags there, things are made only worse. It's likely that by getting rid of tripcodes in /v/, discussion may improve slightly, because non-tripfags who hate tripfags will be less likely to cause shit, and tripfags will be less likely to cause shit because they won't be able to "FIGHT DA POWER." 

Howabout everysingle person who wants to discuss videogames takes it TO THE DISCUSSION BOARDS WHERE IT BELONGS instead of trying to do it on a pruned btard playpen?
