The most nostalgic game for me to look back on, and possibly greatest rpg I've ever played in my life. Certainly in my top 10 all time, right above Banjo & Kazooie/DK64.

Man, that's messed up. I felt bad for Mallow. Though, you're right, I took him out of the fighting party as soon as I got Toadstool (I like to keep my item inventory as minimal as possible). Also, Geno was the most awesome character of the game.
Chrono Trigger had it all, great story and great gameplay, good use of puzzles vs straight fights, and motherfucking DUAL and TRIPLE TECH!
if you are into the whole SaveTheWorld thing, check out Terranigma, Secret of the Stars, RoboTrek, and nothing is ever wrong with FF2,3,5. (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest however is so easy a child could be playing it, but as it was my first Final Fantasy game on SNES it was alright.)

Yeah sure, make shitty CG renderings of Mario and friends from your own shit, have them move among paintballed-cardboard levels, and write a plot about some evil giant sword that becomes the precursor to so many evil giant sword plots. GENIUS!!!
