Are H-games legal in the US?

Name: Anon 2006-12-08 1:38

I occasonionally seen stores on the Internet selling English translations of H-games..

However, I remember a law recently passed that says lolicon hentai is considered CP.  And H-games usually contain a lot of lolicon hentai.  And CP = illegal.  Thus, H-games = illegal.

Um, how can you say that ALL H-games would be illegal just because a few contain loli?

Obviously they would be selective of what they sold.

You forget the fact that most games prominently display the fact that all characters in the story are over 18 despite having all the characteristics of a loli.

Lolicon isn't explicitly illegal. There is a law that could be interpreted as a lolicon ban. In any case, you can't put an age on a fictional character, which is why h-game distributors claim that all the characters are over 18 to avoid potential complications. There have been two cases involving lolicon and the PROTECT act, but both times the perps also had real CP, and were generally favorable to the future of lolicon:
