I suddenly have a very strong craving for a good strategy game. Preferably a free one, as I'm currently saving up for a new monitor and I'm over $100 from my goal. A brief list of prefered qualities follow:
1. Turn-based rather than real-time. I'm looking for something that'll actually give me time to think, not something that depends on a premade strategy and my ability to run through it as fast as possible.
2. Obviously, a strategy game.
Optional:
3. Military/squad based or something like that.
4. Free or easily acquirable through questionable means that I in no way support. >_>
