Can this even Happen? Or has Weekly Famitsu been bought by Sony...
- Weekly Famitsu has conducted an online poll on the question "which next-generation console you wish to play the most?", the results are:
1. 47.9% - None
2. 35.6% - PlayStation 3
3. 13.6% - Wii
4. 2.9% - Xbox 360
- The next question, "what would you buy by the year end, if you have to decide between PS3 and Wii?
1. 35.8% - Wii
2. 32.3% - PlayStation 3
3. 27.6% - I will wait (i.e. neither)
4. 4.3% - I will buy both
- Weekly Famitsu's president Hirokazu Hamamura mentioned that he expects Nintendo to sell 1 million units of Wii by the end of 2006, and 3.4 million units can be sold by the end of 2007. He expects the worldwide sales of Wii can raise to 10.48 million units by the end of 2007.
