best PC gamepad under $30?

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-03 23:11

What's the best PC gamepad I can get for under $30 that's recognized by ZSNES, FwNES, ePSXe, etc?  Comfort and compatibility with most of the best emulators being what I'm looking for, basically.  Any brands I should avoid?

Playing with the keyboard is for the birds.

That's the pad I use, it is decent and nice an cheap
Benefits: Digital Pad is actually Digital unlike Microsofts hilarious mistake to make thairs analog. Also it is easy to get into for when you have to clean it. Very nice face buttons, nice double trigger set, nice start select.

Downsides: After a while (think it takes a year or so) the contacts of the digital pad will start to wear (maybe this is just if you play too much melty blood and keep 22Cing all the time, aaaah yeah that's probably it) or get dirty (I smoke profusely, even while playing games) so you'll probably have to clean it up in order to get it working again, that or you can pitch it and get another for the same price which is like :10bux: in the least, it's better then wasting the same amount of money on a subscription to a horrible message board that doesn't even have a sage feature.
