1. Anyone that says that a genre is better than another one is a closed minded idiot. The only exception is that everything is better than country music. This can be extended to say that anyone that says a genre is supreme to another in every way is a giant closed minded douchebag.
2. Good jRPGs have great plots with amazing depth and creative worlds. However, they have rehashed and monotonous gameplay (mainly due to too much focus on combat), and as a result power levelling can kill the game's difficulty.
3. Western RPGs seem to be the opposite. The gameplay is extremely addicting and the character development creates real attachment to your party. The main problem is that truly epic and creative worlds are too few and far between.
Of course, there are strong games in both categories. I'm not going to mention any, because you guys are assholes. In conclusion, if you don't agree with this post GTFO.
