The genres just aren't comparable (in the quantitative sense) -- both have their strengths and flaws (rehashed a dozen times already), both have their good and bad games ... and both have a tired mainstream set of games that mostly serves as flamebait for the genre as a whole, generally by uneducated fanboys of the opposite genre.
To demand that either side "win" is idiocy at its finest. To "win" would be to convince everyone that your genre has all the good and none of the bad -- which would require mass delusion, since each side has both brilliance and crap.
The only winners in this thread are the ones that have played the good RPGs in either genre. The losers are ones like you -- fanboys that are so immersed in their own little world of prejudiced opinions that they're afraid to try something new.
