Like it has been already said jRPGs fail, because of bad writing and shitty stories. Simple as that. They excel in visuals and sometimes on gameplay. Arpgs(with exception of some ie. Fallout, Arcanum, Torment, KOTOR etc.) tend to suck even more balls, but this is mainly because retarded D&D tradition. Show me some jRPG with actual choices, dynamic storyline and atleast Fallout quality(meaning not brilliant, but not so bad either) writing and story. If such game really exist I have to play it.
