And see, here's the problem. The jRPG position has been defended. As in each attack has been successfully deflected. RPG game series that are popular not made by Square were listed even before #53. Japanese game publishers who publish RPG's outside in America. Generalizations made against jRPG's that are partially, if not wholly, incorrect (and then corrected by the jRPG position).
Yet what arguments has the aRPG position defended against? None. The only statement the aRPG group has made is that both sides have their plusses and minuses--which doesn't defend against any of the points made against aRPG's.

And it's statements like this that keeps this debate from being intellectual in any capacity. Now, I could say "...what else should I expect?
