Summon Knight: Swordcraft Story wasnt bad, but dont expect anything legendary. its also got difficulty curve issues. (theres some parts in the beginning thats difficult on some sadistic, dark scale, but its mostly a pretty easy game.)

but you cant go wrong with the Legend of Mana series, and Shining force was win too (although i only played the first one on the genesis)
