How do I fix this fucking board bug?

This board is a poor substitue for /v/, but it's impossible to get there now.

Ok, i found the fix for getting these boards to work again! Strangely, the fix was posted to an Australian board almost 2 years ago. All you have to do is do a search of your computer for a file called "hosts" (no quotes). it's in the C:/Windows/system32 folder if you want to cut down on search time. now, once you found the file, open it in notepad and look for any lines pertaining to 4chan.org (there will be an IP address followed by (something, in my case "bin").4chan.org. all you have to do is delete any lines pertaining to 4chan and then hit save. and the boards will work again!

It was back when 4chan was having dns problems.

Why didn't you simply purge your DNS cache server and query the master DNS servers instead?

This was when they got new servers and the ip address changed and mooty put up a post saying how the dns hadn't propagated yet so for the time being we needed to edit the hosts file ourselves.

I feel the need, the need for weed!
