PS2 w/PSX Memory Card.

I've got my chipped PS2, my PS2 Memory Card, and my PSX memory card. When I put in my PSX Memory Card and turn on the console, it doesn't appear under "Browse", is it supposed to? I need it in order to save PSX games. I played MGS a while ago without a Memory Card, and when I got to CD 2 it refused to accept the CD (burned it out like 10 times), so I had to shut it down, and now I have to start all over.

So basically what I'm asking is: Should the PSX Memory Card appear under "Browse", and if it doesn't, is it a bad Memory Card?

Also, the last question: Can I burn out PSX games on DVDs and still get them to work normally? I don't have any blank CDs left, but I have plenty of DVDs.

Nobody knows the answer to my question? And you insult people by calling them "casual gamers"? Don't make me laugh.

Maybe your PSX memory card died?

Your answer is that it SHOULD appear in your browser. If it's not, then your PS2 isn't recognizing it and either your PS2 is broken or your memory card is broken. Try it in a different system and see if you still have this problem.

Alright, I bought 200 CD-Rs today, and tested my PSX Memory Card with FFIX. I was able to save and load my game(s). The card doesn't appear in the browser though. Thanks for your help despite of that, >>5.
