NEW PC GAMe??

hey
i just got a brand new pc worth over 2k
what are some good new games that i should get that are both

1) fun
and
2) pretty


any ideas?

Nah, Half Life 2 was fairly amazing. But I'd recommend playing the first Half Life first.
Battlefield 2 was a lot of fun for a few months, but it has worn old to me. I still play though, and played today (and just got promoted to Gunnery Sergeant).

FEAR has possibly the best enemy AI I've ever experienced in a game. There was a time when I was up against 3 enemies. I hit one in the helmet and he fell back. One guy yelled "Covering fire!" and one soldier opened fire and held it while another grabbed his downed buddy and dragged him behind cover.
